Hallie Raye Nelson - August 2, 2007

We welcomed Hallie Raye Nelson on August 2, 2007 at 2:40 AM. She weighed 6 lbs 7 ozs and was 20 inches long.

I have been very delinquent in my postings but will now update you on Hallie's arrival! My last month of pregnancy was very busy! I spent most of it trying to get everything ready for the baby's arrival! Here is a picture of me in our backyard on July 30, 2 days before I went into labor. I planned to be induced the morning of Thursday August 2 but Hallie decided to come a little earlier. Luckily mom, dad and Ashley were able to change their tickets and arrive at the hospital in time to welcome Hallie! Dan and Bobbi made it to Richmond the day she was born and were able to see us in the hospital too!

Week 36

Well, not much longer to go! I am definitely very tired and uncomfortable. Doctor's visit last Friday said I am 50% effaced and 1 cm dialated and thinks the babe will come early. Hopefully not too early! We are still getting the nursery and house together but will be ready soon!

End of Week 27

I have promised to post some photos of me prego. This is one Reed took of me when I was about 24 weeks while we were in the Keys.

Week 25

Well, Reed and I have been making the most out of remaining time before the baby arrives. We have been down to Jacksonville to visit and participate in my nephew Thomas' christening over Easter weekend, to a beautiful wedding in Dallas for our good friends Kim and Jim, and to Islamorada for a mini-vacation. While down in Jacksonville, Dad's sonographer, Gail, was sweet enough to do a 3D scan on me. Although I was a little early (22 weeks) for the 3D to work, I have posted the sonographs. The baby was a little over a pound in these pictures. More soon!
